How to understand Trump-speak, when you realize WHO is speaking.

 When he says…

President Donald Trump on Saturday said U.S. oil companies will invest billions of dollars in Venezuela’s energy sector after the overthrow of President Nicolas Maduro. 

“We’re going to have our very large United States oil companies — the biggest anywhere in the world — go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure,” Trump said in an address to the nation. 

“Let’s start making money for the country,” Trump said…

BUT, what he means is…

“Big Oil is gonna make a killing in Venezuelan oil, (cuz they gave me an BILLION DOLLARS in campaign contributions), and I’m gonna get a cut, cuz that’s what I do….”
