Trump’s ‘Catch-Me-If-You-Can’ presidency keeps finding ways around the law


A plain reading of the law about presidents on coins says the face of a living president should not be on currency. And yet President Donald Trump's is, after his Treasury Department exploited a different law related to commemorative coins.

The law says a president must not commit the US military into hostilities for longer than 60 days without congressional approval. The US has been in a conflict with Iran for more than six months, although the administration says it has taken time-outs in the war. Previous presidents from both parties have danced around this requirement, but nothing on the level of Trump's war on Iran.

Bottom line, the asshole couldn’t care less about the law, and neither could the sheep that support the jackass.

If I gotta explain, you wouldn’t understand….

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers.
