Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger: I suggest the members of the RNC committee watch footage from Jan. 6 again. It is so troubling that they consider this “legitimate political discourse.” Evidently they were not among those hiding under their desks during the siege of the Capitol. The peaceful transfer of power is a hallmark of our democracy. Kudos to Cheney and Kinzinger for their willingness to participate in a bipartisan effort to investigate the events of Jan. 6, 2021, and save and heal this democracy.

"The Republicans seem to be having a limbo contest with themselves to see how low they can go," Pelosi said at her weekly press conference on Capitol Hill. "They seem to have reached rock bottom with their statement." Ha. Just when you think they can’t possibly get any lower, they(R) follow Dotard’s lead, and look like an anvil, thrown in the ocean..  More than  725 rioters  from nearly all 50 states have been arrested and charged with crimes related to the storming of the US Capitol.  Five deaths  are directly attributable to events of that day; approximately  140 law enforcement officers  were treated for injuries. It will take  millions of dollars  to repair the damage caused by the rioters, according to congressional testimony by the architect of the US Capitol. And the jerks call it legitimate political discourse…….

  Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie did not hold back Sunday in his criticism of how former President Donald Trump has sought to depict the deadly   attack against the Capitol   on Jan. 6, 2021. "Let's face it. Let's call it what it is. Jan. 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump in an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week: Overturn the election," Christie said on ABC's "This Week." Duh, ya think so?

S. Capitol “are being treated so unfairly” and may be deserving of pardons if convicted. Once again, Trump is assuming the role of judge, jury and defense attorney and he seeks to gloss over the sad debacle that occurred. But, just as he did regarding his false claims about a “stolen election” despite more than 60 court cases finding no cause for any of his claims, Trump alone apparently knows better. It is time for Republican leaders and the rank and file to take off their gloves and call it like it is. Trump is trying to edge our democracy toward a fascist state. Anything contrary to his thinking is wrong. This applies to actions by our court system, our media, our public opinion or Congress. Voters must demand any candidate running for office in this Novembe...

Down in Texas on Saturday, Donald Trump said if he’s elected president again in 2024 he’ll consider pardons for Jan. 6 rioters who are being treated “so unfairly” by the Department of Justice. Then he recommended nationwide protest if he’s treated “illegally” by the various courts investigating his crooked and/or seditious activities. Of course, we understand that any judgment that goes against him will be declared illegal by his gang. Thus, an invitation to another insurrection, this to be spread to cities across the country. I consider myself a member of the majority in this country who find this person repulsive and a danger to the country. We say indict him for seditious conspiracy, as the leadership of his allies, the Oath Keepers, has been indicted. Indict him. Try him. And if he is guilty, let the jury convict him and lock him up before he does more damage to the country...

  When are the very “good old” Republicans going to stand up and stop paying attention to and supporting Donald Trump? I just don’t understand why people, and especially our elected leadership, are being such cowards about standing up and confronting this very immoral past president.
