buried in the back pages, was W's proposal to DOUBLE the Nat'l Petroleum reserve, at a cost of $65 BILLION dollars, while cutting alternative energy budgets. Just when you think he can't be any more blatant in his shoveling of $$$ to his big oil buddies, he comes up with another subsidy for the people he has already made obscenely wealthy. Today's quote, from 9-13-2000. "The best way to relieve families, from time to time, is to let them keep some of their own money." But not MUCH, right...
