In case you missed it,

A Denver federal jury agreed with a top auditor, who had been fired after being a 'whistleblower' against Kerr-McGee, who cheated the govt out of millions of dollars in royalties from oil it produced on public lands. The Interior Dept. composed of Bush admin appointees, fired Bobby Maxwell after he pressed audit findings that oil companies weren't paying necessary taxes. He then sued, as a private citizen, and is blowing the lid off a scandal involving billions of dollars in unpaid royalties. Bottom line, because of administration policies of non-enforcement, oil execs put the $$ in their pockets instead of the US treasury for oil from OUR land, and this guy was ignored, then fired for saying something. That's what we get for having an "oil man" at the top. Along with record gas prices and oil company profits. A coincidence. I DON'T THINK SO. Today's Bush quote, from 5-11-2001. "There's no question that the minute I got elected, the storm clouds on the horizon were getting nearly directly overhead." Yeah, George, I noticed 'em too....
