We were having our picture taken at the top of Beaver Creek, when this THING came out of the mountain and tried to grab Carol. I was able to stab it in the eye with my ski pole and wrestle her away from it's talons with only a few superficial injuries to myself. Other than the attack we had a mahvelous time. The snow was FANTASTIC and the weather couldn't have been better. Met Nate and Laura at Cordillera, an absolutely fantastic place, and had a great time skiing and spa-ing. Gotta do it again next year if the special comes up on travelzoo. Bad thing is, though, Cordillera will spoil you for the ol' Motel 6.
