Book review

in the Rocky Mntn News today, and I love the title. NON-FICTION--THE BUSH TRAJEDY, about the father-son relationship, which lies at his spectacular, avoidable flame-out. Explains why W was intent on being an instantaneous 'decider', who refuses to change his mind or revisit his choices, to differentiate himself from his father who was known as being 'prudent'. It tells how Karl Rove and Dick Cheney would always frame choices to maneuver him into their points of view, by pointing him toward being the antithesis of his father. The Iraq War was sold as being 'Bold, and Game-changing", playing into the military's and oil company's wishes. SOOO, again we see how this puppet was used to fulfill the wishes of the military-industrial complex. Not that there is anything NEW in this book. Was pretty obvious to some of us....

Barbara raised those kids and her influence is ever so apparent, especially with Bubba, The Hollow Brain. If one were to recall, Bar's term as First Lady, the connection to Georgie's administration is parallel. The roots run deep. George, The Prudent, was pretty much his own man, although, I conclude, Bar worn the pants above the Oval Office. Barbara carries a tremendous amount of clout in the Bush family. Just look at her and one can see, she can take on the WWF, even wearing her pearls.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
