Good news today

The old Storage Tech campus was sold to Conoco-Philips, for $60 million, as their new HQ for Renewable Energy Research. Over 1000 BIG paying jobs, right here in the neighborhood (3 miles away). Gotta be fantastic news. THANK YOU big oil company. All real estate is local, and I think this helped our local real estate BIG TIME. They are gonna knock the whole thing down and build state of the art facilities. Good news for the home team...
This just in. Today's Rocky Mntn News, in the lead Business Section article, predicts, MANY thousand actual jobs at the facility, with an overall job creation of 18,000 NEW jobs. Sweet! Maybe I can get a job....

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
