10 years after Columbine


and I still haven't forgiven the chickenshit SWAT team, who hid out, afraid to get hurt, even though they had been fitted with body armor and carried automatic weapons. They had been paid and trained for such a situation, BUT, they hid out, for over 2 hours, hunkering down, afraid to move, while 2 people slowly bled to death. THEN, the police dept billed the school distrcict OVER a million dollars, to reconstruct the crime, and, SURPRISE, the main suspects were, (drumroll), Harris and Klebold. NO SHIT. You should be ashamed, you overpaid, cowardly, 'public servants'. Just my humble opinion, BUT, show me where I'm wrong...

A sad day that I think we all will remember. Ted's girlfriend at the time was a student there, Russ responded in an ambulence, and I was a senior in a similair school. Always hard to remember, even harder to forget.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
