Quite a day,

as I had lunch w/my buddy Matt, who paid off a sushi bet, while we caught up on stuff. Glad to see things are good in his life, as he is 'engaged'. Something he said he'd never do again, but he seems happy, so that's great. Then, saw 'Midnight in Paris', which was excellent. Amazing photography, music and casting in a light-hearted story, with Owen Wilson and Amy McAdams, in the 'City of Lights', that was even more fun, to see w/Kari, who just returned from Paris. Then  'twas off to 'Blooms', for wine and appetizers. I need more days like this one.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
