watch the new Bill Maher show, as 2 guests, a Repub and Tea Partier, drone on about Obama DOUBLING the debt, but won't admit why he HAD to. He inherited an economy with banking, manufacturing, housing, and unemployment in crisis, all at once, while GM, Ford, and Chrysler were barely hanging on, even after Bush wrote over $860 BILLION in checks. BTW, Big Oil and defense, the Bush/Cheney family businesses were doing VERY well, thank you, after they attacked the oil basket of the world. Two (unpaid for) wars going on. Tax base crashing while more people needed help every day. Oh yeah, Bush's 'temporary' tax cut for the top 1%, totally 'off the table', for discussion. Bush's fault? NO WAY, it's Obama's problem, according to these two. Total idiots, and there's lots of them around.

And this is how our intelligent govt system works: A U.S. contractor overbilled the Pentagon by at least $4.4 million for spare parts and equipment, including $900. for an electric control switch valued at $7.05, according to a new audit. Among the"egregious examples of overbilling" by Anham of Dubai, were $4,500 for a circuit breaker valued at $183.30, $3,000 for a $94.47 circuit breaker, and $80.00 for a small drain pipe valued at $1.41.
Maybe the Pentagon should hire someone from Ace Hardware or Home Depot to go over these invoices prior to paying them.
No wonder we are in the friggin red! And that's just ONE contractor.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
