Wow, first time ever for Thanksgiving with family get together. Just Carol and I, the kitties and Arlo.

 Yup, wouldn’t be T-giving without Arlo Guthrie and ‘Alice’s Restaurant’, usually on KBCO radio as we drive up the mountain to drink sample Nate’s latest home brew, laugh with the kids and OD on food, with games and a concert afterward while we play with Tre and talk with Piper, and a short hike on the mountain to help with digestion.

Never a problem with politics, cuz we’re all on the same page. Educated, informed people who just laugh at Dotard and the gullible sheep. I can’t imagine having to spend the holiday with some dumbass(R) who claims ‘Trump WON’, but has ZERO evidence, other than what they heard from rightwingnut propaganda, which is just mining the cash from the crazies who want to support the ‘legal fight’, but are just paying off Dotard’s campaign bills.

We will be ‘getting together‘ with the kids on Zoom, which will be better than nothing. I hear you don’t need to wear pants? We’ll see how the Zoom meeting goes, but gotta be better than nothing.

The good news this year? No competition for the neck and gizzard, my favorite parts of the turkey AND I can I can put Arlo’s 18 minute song on Repeat, where on U-Tube it goes into ‘City of New Orleans’, ‘Mr Bo Jangles and other favorites.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
