Just saw an old movie is gonna be on, ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still’, and it reminds me of one of my ‘favorite’ Bible stories

The one where God stopped the sun, to prolong a battle, so more of the enemy could be killed.

Oh really?

The Bible was written BY MEN, when they thought the earth was the center of the universe, and the sun, as well as EVERYTHING, revolved around it. In fact, MANY ‘heretics’ were tortured and killed, by church leaders, when they claimed the earth orbited the sun.

But, the Bible story of ‘stopping the sun’ actually means the earth would have to stop rotating.

The ‘true believers’ have no problem with the Bible story, having no clue what would really happen if the earth stopped turning, as per YUUGE tidal waves as the oceans and lakes ‘sloshed over, while everything standing would be thrown to the ground. BUT, don’t try to use logic or facts on the crowd that swallows Trump/FOX crap.

Yup, the same crowd that believes in a LITERAL bible believes the crap from Der Trumpkof, Sean and Tucker.

And you wonder how we got Dotard in the White House, plus anti-vaxers and belief in a StolenElection?

Yup, don’t bother that crowd with ‘facts’, cuz they just don’t matter to those in their fact resistant bubbles.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
