It’s that time of year….I hunted elk and deer in the high country for about 50 years, and the official camp drink was

 Nectar of the Gods, which is freshly squeezed apple cider and Jack Daniels.

Amazing…

So, now, even though I’m not hunting, it’s that time of year, and after the election there’s a legitimate reason to drink.

Facing the future sober is gonna be tough, as he just appointed Christie Noem as head of the DHS.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
