The Repubs claim they aren’t Banning books in Florida, just removing sexually explicit books, like

“Anne Frank’s Diary”, and “Sophie’s Choice.” So is a graphic novel adaptation of “1984,” George Orwell’s seminal work on censorship and surveillance.

In a statement to The Associated Press, a spokesperson for the Florida Department of Education maintained there are no books being banned in Florida and defended the state’s push to remove “sexually explicit materials” from schools.

Like Sophie’s Choice, Anne Frank’s Diary and 1984.

What a bunch of slimeballs(R), but, nothing new here, as George Orwell’s world gets closer every day, where Repubs rule.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
