  • Videos from bystanders (warning: graphic) undercut that narrative, showing instead the woman reversing, turning the wheels of the SUV to leave, and pulling forward when an officer fired once through her windshield, then several more times through her open driver’s side window as she proceeded past.
  • Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey slammed attempts by ICE to portray Wednesday’s fatal shooting as an act of self-defense. “Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly: That is bullshit,” he told reporters. “This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying,” he added, telling ICE to "get the fuck out of Minneapolis.”
