15 Former Republican Congressmen Join Democrats In Opposition To Trump's Plan To Disrupt Mail Voting

Fifteen former Republican members of Congress joined nearly every current Democrat in Congress on a brief urging the Supreme Court to reject President Donald Trump’s effort to undermine mail voting on the eve of the midterm elections.

The Postal Service rules targeting mail-in voting “unconstitutionally infringe on Congress’s authority under the Elections Clause and the Postal Clause and unlawfully direct federal agencies to act beyond — and in conflict with — what Congress has clearly authorized by law,” the brief states.
