just like they always do. The right wing attack dogs came out this morning and confused the issue about Scooter's 'get of jail free' card. They said it was because he was FALSELY accused of leaking Valerie Plames' name to the press and it was really someone else. WRONG! He was properly accused, convicted and sentenced, by a primarily Republican/bi-partisan legal system for repeatedly lying to a grand jury about who authorized the lies concerning Iraq's nuclear capability, in a rush to justify a bogus war. A war that has worked out SO WELL. Any thinking person knows it was Cheney/Rove and their puppet, Bush. By the way, the program of disinformation and outright lies worked pretty well. Over 40% of the US population believes Iraq attacked us on 9-11, and over 25% believe there were WMD found in Iraq. Unbelieveable, the level of ignorance in this country. But it works for W and his culture of corruption. Scooter still has to pay a fine. BIG DEAL. One of Georgieboys' Big Oil contributors, who has become obscenely wealthy raping the American people at the gas pump will simply write a check in some 'under the counter' deal, and Scooter gets away with lying/stonewalling to a Grand Jury. This is all about taking a country to war under false pretenses, then covering up all evidence of who was responsible and why. Just another example of the blatant disregard for the law exhibited by this bunch of lying crooks in Washington.
