Am taking a break,

but read a bunch of books, lately. A couple of James Patterson's, several Robert Parker's, who have been made into TV movies with Tom Selleck as "Jesse Stone", the struggling alcoholic who fled LA, as a detectective, only to find his new job as sheriff of Paradise, Maine, is NOT the easy slide into retirement he had envisioned. But my favorite remains Lee Child, with his Jack Reacher novels. Seems I am not his only fan at the public library. He has 8 novels, and, at best, there are 2 or 3, there, at a time. Anyway, taking a bit of a reading break, and doing more outdoor stuff. BUT, forecast in the upper 90's this week, so, other than some golf, am prob'ly gonna 'hit the books', again. BTW, Kari called from London this morning, and sounds like they are having a great time, like I knew they would. Can't wait to see them, and our other friends, on the 4th....
