Not just me,

who calls FOXNews a bunch of liars. Since last year, the Pulitzer Prize-winning site, Politifact, operated by the St. Petersburg Times, has been tracking the statements of prominent pundits and assessing them for accuracy. Truth and Lies
The lowest score, of 31.7, went to Limbaugh. Six of his 12 claims were rated either "False" or "Pants on Fire." Beck, pictured above, fared only a little better: His average was 38.8. Among other notable pundits, Bill O'Reilly scraped the bottom with a 32 average, while Sean Hannity, whose show follows O'Reilly's on Fox News's prime time schedule, was just slightly better. MSNBC's two stars, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, scored matching averages of 54.3, while Paul Krugman and Donna Brazile also tied at 64. You can see my full spreadsheet here.

Actually, the story said that "while Sean Hannity, whose show follows O'Reilly's on Fox News's prime time schedule, was just a hair's width less accurate than Will, averaging 72."

Also, the story admits: "In case you're wondering, PolitiFact's staffers rely mostly on their guts -- and the occasional suggestion from readers -- in deciding which claims to research."

So it could be slanted, but I find it interesting anyway. I also read factcheck.org, which seems pretty unbiased. And according them too, everybody lies. But I personally wouldn't know about the pundits, since I don't watch that crap.

I just love it when you return to nitpick. You're such a charming character. I imagine you floss after every meal and spit-shine your shoes.

SOO, I 'accidentally' edited the last part of the Hannity sentence, but I can't stand that smug SOB. Good catch. It shows you're paying attention. Nothing wrong with flossing, either, but spit shining IS a bit obsessive. And the 'gut' thing w/staffers, that's just WHAT to cover, not HOW. Snopes.com is also good for fact shceking which is necessary these days, w/all the liars in the media, mostly at FOX.
