Saw 'The King's Speech', yesterday,

and really liked it. An excellent period piece and character study. Colin Ferril as the Duke of York and Geoffry Rush as his 'commoner' speech therapist were excellent. One of those movies I hated to see come to an end, which is the sign of a good one. Really captured the feel of London and that time in history while pointing out the debilitating effect of a speech defect and the different worlds between those 'high born' and common people. Supposedly historically accurate, it was kinda slow starting and not real exciting, but very engaging. Will probably do well with the Academy Awards.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
