Who can't see,

what's going on with the Repubs? All the big guns, Huckabee, Palin, Trump, etc, can make much more $, which is the end-all game, for them, by just being FOXNews or TV 'personalities', instead of being a real candidate, which means taking stands on issues. Who can't see thru this crap?

There's a huge case of Hoof and Mouth disease going around the Republican party. Trump dropped out after the birth certificate was shown and still he didn't believe it. Huckabee can't put two words together without his guitar. Ron Paul? Can't decide, period. Will Palin run? Hopefully into the Bering Sea.

Now we have Bachmann coming up on the inside rail. She has dubbed herself and Tim Pawlenty "The Minnesota Twins." Will she throw her bra into the presidential ring? She's dissed Obama as not standing with Israel and repealing "Obamacare" calling it Socalism.
I agree that we must back Israel at all cost! They are our most important ally in the Middle east and we've the most to lose if we don't come to their aid.
Do any of us know enough about "Obamacare" do assess it as socalism?

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

Given a chance to admit that she made a mistake when she stated that our 'Founding Fathers' worked tirelessly to end slavery, she doubled down and claimed John Quincy Adams, who was a young child at the time, was against slavery, so she was/is right. Wow.
