Am watching 60 Minutes,
recorded from Sunday, and see a true 'gray area', where ranches in Texas raise exotic animals, for 'hunters', to pay big money, and shoot them. Good news, bad news. These animals are there, for one reason, because some people are willing to pay a LOT to shoot them. Bottom line, many live, because some are sacrificed. Gray area. I just can't believe that some 'hunters' will pay big bucks to shoot an animal that's fenced in, but they do, SO, the land owners saw a business and filled a 'need'. Because of this whole system, thousands of animals that otherwise would never have been born, are now alive in Texas, for a while. It's called capitalism, and it works for me, although the thought of shooting a fenced 'trophy' is repugnant.
