I'm not a big fan of FOX and/or the Pubs, (one and the same), BUT, if this article, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/08/28/census-figures-show-more-than-one-third-americans-receiving-welfare-benefits/
 is true, (which it may or may not be be, considering the source), it's pretty sad/sickening. One in three Americans are getting govt assistance? If true, something's gotta change, or we don't have a chance, as a country. A good idea, (taking care of the truly needy), being gamed by the lazy. Something's really wrong when the 'system' makes it so advantageous to NOT work. Insane, as those who work, support those who choose not to.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
