 Well, the NBA is the same way. After LeBron James only went to the line a total of five times in two games, (cuz he wasn’t getting fouled) he and his team OFFICIALLY complained to the NBA Officials. And it worked.

If only real life was like that. ‘Hey, I haven’t gotten enough ‘gimmes’ lately, and I’m getting old, and I’d REALLY like to win....’

Well, it worked for the LA Whiners. All LeBron had to do was put his head down, lead with his shoulder and knock down any Nugget that was between him and the basket. FOUL on the Nugget. Free throws for King James! FOURTEEN times, in a game that the Nuggies trailed by one basket with a few seconds remaining, when they were forced to foul.

Sickening, in a game where LA went to the line 12 more times than Denver, on bogus/phantom fouls, while Denver’s stars sat cuz of too many fouls. 

The announcers would run the replay and ask, ‘Where’s the foul?’

Bottom line, when you’re a star you can do whatever you want. Grab ‘em by the pussy or knock ‘em over and go to the lane. It’s good to be the King!

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
