Fox News And The Cost Of Lies

Leaked emails confirmed what many of us suspected: Fox News anchors lied to viewers about the presidential election being stolen from Trump and didn't care enough to stop it, and in fact embellished the lies to gain viewership.
We make a mistake in thinking of Fox as a news channel; it’s not. It’s propaganda, more precisely, a television programming format, one no different from a sitcom, a crime drama or a reality show. Each of those television formats comes with an expectation. If a program doesn’t deliver that expectation, the audience reacts, and not in a good way. They might even regard it as treason, which is the very description applied to Fox viewers after the network called Arizona for Joe Biden on election night.
Then, FOX presented the Dominion Voting System ’Stolen Election’ as fact, rather than an effort to increase viewership, which directly contributed to the January 6th insurrection.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
