gullibility and intense cynicism.

It refers to a phenomenon where individuals or groups reject verified evidence and empirical facts (such as science, history, or political reporting) while simultaneously embracing absurd, unverified, or conspiratorial assertions.
Key Characteristics of Gullicism:
  • Selective Cynicism: Gullicists distrust established institutions, experts, and media, believing them to be deceptive, yet they place blind trust in alternative information sources, influencers, or self-serving leaders, like Trump.
