The Dow Jones Industrial average shed 630 points, or 1.4%. The S&P 500 fell 2%, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 2.6%. The the small-cap Russell 2000 slipped into correction territory — that is, a 10% decline from their latest high. 

The Dow and Nasdaq are inches away from a correction, as the Mideast is sucked ever closer to all out war.
