U.S. Deploys More Warships, Troops To Middle East: Report

The U.S. is reportedly sending more warships and troops to the Middle East amid growing tensions over the choked-up Strait of Hormuz.

Citing military officials, the Associated Press reported three more warships — the USS Boxer and two other amphibious assault ships — and around 2,500 Marines of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are bound for the region from their home port of San Diego.

Another group of amphibious assault ships carrying Marines have already been redirected from the Pacific to the Middle East.

About 50,000 troops are stationed in the region.

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax.
