52 yr. old Cindy Hoover,

was leaving Central City, last Thursday, about 40 miles from here, when she swerved, in her 2004 Passat, to miss some deer in the road, and careened down a ravine, with the car finally coming to rest on it's top. Cindy had 12 broken ribs and a dislocated back, among other injuries. With no food or water, and having lost her shoes, over the course of FIVE days and nights, she was able to drag herself nearly 500 feet to the Hidee Gold Mine, which happened to be giving a tour. She was bruised and dirty, after a weekend where the high temp was 45 degrees, but still alive. I can't imagine going through that...
