Have started watching,

the new season of, 'The Tudors', about HenryVIII, during whose reign, the Catholic and Protestant churches, fought and were established, for modern time. Depended upon who had the most money and biggest armies, as to who won. Be on the right side and you got land and riches. On the wrong side, you were dead, after being tortured. The royal families alternately fought and/or paid the Pope, who had his own armies, for approval. The roots of modern religion.

Never mess with the Church. It has powers beyond my wildest imagination. Whether it is ordained by God or controlled by man, it scares me. What a government can do with the help of the Church is also frightening, I've discovered and gives power an entire new name. Given what occured with the Tudors and what is happening today within the confines of Church power is mindblowing.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
