One of the MANY things I didn't know

about Mormons and Mormonism, is that Steve Young, of the San Francisco 49'ers, is the great-great-great-grandson of Brigham Young, who took the reins of the Mormon church after Joseph Smith was killed by a mob of men, when it was discovered what he was doing to several of their young daughters. I just never put the 'Young' names together, though I knew Steve was the QB at BYU.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
