Celebrated Carol's b-day last night,

as we met the kids downtown for dinner at Fogo de Chau, home of the 'meat parade', although they have the best salad bar around. Famous for waiters that bring skewers of freshly grilled meat, incl rib-eyes, bacon wrapped filet mignon, lamb, sirloin, etc, as long as you have the green flag up. Then, it was off to the opening night of Green Day's 'American Idiot' at the Buell Center. The Broadway Show, sold out when we were in NYC, was amazing as they cranked out Billy Joe's soul searching ode to growing up in suburban America, at at time when Bush (the American Idiot, in the title), was wrecking the country. SO many good songs, and a beautiful evening to be out and about in downtown Denver, with the kids.
