After watching a couple movies,

about parent's deaths and sibs, I realize there are some universal truths. My dad didn't get along with his hypocritical bros, Rev Burdette, and Rev Elvin, with whom he didn't speak, for the last half of his life. Family relationships are fluid, developing over time, depending on circmstances, and religion plays a HUGE part, as some claim they know God's mind, in spite of 'real life', that proves they don't have a clue. Very interesting, but nothing new, in familial relationships, as some things never change.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
