Am reading a book of outdoor stories, (If You Can See the Truck You’re Not Really Lost), and the author, had a great line.
‘I was raised Christian, but it never really took.
Jesus and I are still looking for each other.’
Good way of getting his point across.
And then there was this one about his buddy, a self-employed carpenter, who never let the necessity of ‘making a living’ interfere with the luxury living, itself.
I resemble that remark... to some extent.
