Law is all about precedents, and following them. The morons are setting a precedent for an Impeachment trial where a president can do ANYTHING he wants, like withholding aid to a country in exchange for dirt on his political opponent, and if he’s impeached for it, VOILA! No documents and no witnesses!

Sounds like the perfect way for a wanna-be dictator/tyrant (Dotard’s dream) to get away with whatever crimes he wants to do.
