In one of those ‘strange but true’ facts of American politics, much like, ‘the Electoral College Trumps the Popular Vote’

the Dem candidates are forced to do a dog and pony show in Iowa, a rural, white, literal Bible believing Republican state that doesn’t come close to representing today’s America.
As the Pubs laugh and cheer them on, the Dem front runners tear each other apart, trying to please a bunch of old, white farmers, who mainly care about getting their corn subsidies, Social Security and Medicare checks while they rail against Socialism.
Stupid system, that needs to change, but never will.....
