It’s the morning after and the fire stopped on the edge of town when the wind finally subsided.

 Lotta damage coming into view as the worst fire in Colorado history burned less than ten miles from here, burying us in smoke and ash. The gov flew over our house not long ago on flyover to see the damage.

The good news? FINALLY getting first snow of the season, on the last day of the year.

Can you say Climate Change, Global Warming? Amazing how some can deny reality, but maybe they’d believe if it was THEIR house that burned during a drought this time of year after hurricane winds whipped through the area less than a month after record tornados in the east during December.

Although, if you can look at the pandemic and refuse vaccination, reality isn't really in your world view.

As reality intrudes into my life, with climate change and COVID, it’s hard to imagine those who can deny it, BUT, after seeing all the hypocrites who can snuggle up to the criminal conman/Pathological Liar/Pussy Grabber/insurrection incited/ arrogant  LOSER who claims a Stolen Election (after over 60 courts say Bullshit) I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by anything that’s believed by those who get their ‘news’ from a Repub. Propaganda Outlet whose mission/purpose os to elect Repubs, facts be damned.

Still waiting to hear from friends/acquaintances who were in burned out neighborhoods. Hoping for the best….

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
