And you wonder WHY government is broken, with Boss Hogg in charge?

 Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., told Newsmax on Wednesday that Senate Republicans have no reason to negotiate with Democrats over the ongoing government shutdown.

"We have nothing to negotiate," he told "The Record With Greta Van Susteren."

I understand why Democrats are holding fast on the Republican plan on health care for Americans. What I don’t understand is why both sides can’t compromise on the issue. I think American voters sent a message last November on wanting the crack down on illegal immigrants, so why can’t both sides compromise and not give free medical to people who are seeking asylum and keep Obamacare in place for the rest of Americans?

Because the Repubs REFUSE TO NEGOTIATE, in their ‘my way or the highway’ approach, with Boss Hogg in charge.
