For many Americans, the gap between Christian teachings and MAGA politics is baffling. How can people profess faith in Jesus ― who preached love, mercy and care for the oppressed ― while supporting policies that punish immigrants, demonize LGBTQ people and glorify cruelty?

 I’m sure that I’m not the only one who has wrestled with that question.

I do have an answer, though…

They’re HYPOCRITES, who think ANYTHING is justified, from the LYING, morally bankrupt, arrogant, greedy, wannabe dictator, cuz they just KNOW the same thing that has caused far more wars than any other reason.

They KNOW the mind of God, and….

‘God is on my side.’

Case closed!

Understand now?

Religion is one of the most dangerous forces on earth.

If you’ve ever encountered true fundamentalists, you know why. When you combine eternal stakes with absolute certainty, it produces the kind of people who are happy to be cruel in the name of God.
