The subpoena was for Pam Bondi, NOT, the Attorney General.

 The Pubs claim to be the Law and Order Party, (what a joke), until they decide to break the law….

Congress Threatens To Hold Pam Bondi In Contempt After Deposition No-Show

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, threatened potential contempt proceedings against former Attorney General Pam Bondi after she failed to show up for a scheduled deposition on the government's files on Jeffrey Epstein.
"Pam Bondi is evading a lawful congressional subpoena by failing to appear before the Oversight Committee for a deposition about the Epstein files and the White House cover-up," Garcia said in a statement. "She must appear before the Committee, and if she continues to ignore the law, Oversight Democrats will move forward with contempt proceedings immediately."
Bondi wasn't expected to appear after the Justice Department claimed last week she didn't have to comply with the panel's subpoena anymore since she is no longer attorney general.
Except that's not how subpoenas work. And Bondi was subpoenaed by name, not by title.
