You think food prices are high now? Just wait til Boss Hogg’s policies filter through the food chain….On top of a drought, diesel fuel, fertilizer, any farm implements made with steel or aluminum and the loss of farm labor from immigrants.

 First, the Trump administration’s tariffs and war on Iran drove up prices for fertilizer, packaging and other materials. The War by Choice also broke supply chains — sprinkler heads and other irrigation products aren’t available.

Then, Trump’s “Operation Epic Fury” bombing that began Feb. 28 led to fuel costs spiking to $5 per gallon of diesel and fertilizer becoming unavailable.

Meanwhile, the federal government’s crackdown on immigration depleted the work force, and there’s no one willing to take the jobs they want to do.

BUT, hard as it is to be a farmer, with all of Dotard’s horrendous decisions, it’s hard to feel sorry for them, cuz they were a main component in electing the incompetent asshole.

Now, we all gotta live with their bad decisions….
