File this under, 'Unbelievable',

even for the Repubs.

At a Republican Party fundraiser in Connecticut on Thursday, Michael Steele declared that the war in Afghanistan "was a war of Obama's choosing" that America had not "actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in,"

What? Bush's War, in response to an attack by 15 Arabs, followed by an attack on Iraq, who had NOTHING to do with 9-11, is now being blamed on Obama, by the Chairman of the Republican National Committee.
These clowns just never cease to amaze me. How can anyone take them seriously?

Ya' know, it's always been the United States policy to stick its nose in every country's business throughout the centuries, Afghanistan, no exception. We secretedly gave weapons to the Mujahadeen, which Osama was a part of. Then we pulled out after the Russians asses were kicked. Then the Taliban took over, which led to Al Quaeda and 9/11. Now had we stayed after Russia left and built a few hospitals, schools, etc., maybe we wouldn't have to fight the SOBs today or had 9/11, but that's how we play the govt. game. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
