The term 'hero',

is tossed around a lot these days, as in everyday soldiers and policemen, but in Japan right now, there are some true heroes. The atomic reactor workers, many who have lost their home and loved ones, are facing certain (painful) death, are going into the 'danger zone' voluntarily. To me, these are true heroes, and just watching the story, touched me deeply.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
