I may bitch about FOX,

but I gotta admit their endless crap and propaganda obviously works.
For the first time, more than 50 percent of Americans blame President Barack Obama for the nation’s economic woes, a Gallup poll released Thursday finds.
When over half the people can look at the mess Obama inherited, from the lying Texan, who left with a 22% approval rating, HUGE unemployment, the financial world in ruins, housing prices plummeting, two unpaid -for wars and the economy in freefall, and then blame Obama for not 'fixing it, quick', you gotta realize how constant lies and propaganda CAN make a difference as the sheep continue to swallow the swill from FOX.

But you have to admit, Stevo, Obama made some pretty good promises to the American people about "fixing", "opening the doors of Congress where the Bush Administration had kept them closed", no behind closed doors meetings. What happened to GITMO & the trials? He's proved, once again that he is just a "talking head", he's guilty as hell of putting his buddies in high office, he knows little about running government, he panders, he gerrymanders, and out and out lies! If that ain't a politican, I don't know what is!He led many of us down that rose colored path of sweet words and now we're worse off than we were when he was elected. If you can prove otherwise, pull up a chair and tell me. Maybe you live in another USA than I.

Very true. Obama hasn't kept MANY of his campaign promises. SURPRISE. But, If you read what I wrote, is that he shouldn't be blamed for not 'fixing' the mess W left. No mortal could do that, although he hasn't made much of an effort. Anything he does try, though, is beaten down by the Repubs who suddenly have a fiscal conscience.

Right now, the 'Pubs hold the aces in this poker game. They want to see the Dems go down. They know Dubya left a mess, but they don't know how to go about fixing it anymore than Obama or the Democrats do. The country is too far down the rabbit hole to see the sunshine again. we're not the superpower we once were, nor are we the giant of industry. We have no strength monetarily, because of the European market and what we've borrowed from China. Our trade with other countries is ridiculous. We bring in more than goes out. You call that even? Blame NAFTA; Unions; Reaganomics; Wars; Karma....Life, whatever. We're going the way of the rest of empires go and that is down. And that you can rely on.

I agree except for, 'we have no strength monetarily'. We are not as strong as we once were, cuz of Bush, mainly, (but not only). We're still the best bet out there, cuz we can print our own money, and the EU is in deep shit. VERY interesting times ahead, if you like monetary chaos

Sure we can print our own money, but we have no gold to back it up. Germany printed its own money, too! And you see what happened there.....Hitler took over and got the country out of deep debt. The uncertain European market, especially Greece and the possiblity of changing the Euro. Now another hit to Japan with a typhoon, who will Japan call on for aid? China, who is now a world dominator? Stevo, we cannot continue to rob from the poor, give to the rich and watch Congress sit there and argue about which party is right.
