Trump to Expand Presidential Powers If Reelected: Report

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly planning a sweeping expansion of presidential powers over the machinery of government if he wins his White House bid.

Trump intends to bring independent agencies like the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission under direct presidential control.

Also, the news outlet reported, Trump wants to revive the practice of "impounding" funds — refusing to spend money Congress has appropriated for programs — that lawmakers banned under President Richard Nixon.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
