Yahoo! This is the best new rule in sports in MANY years! ‘Flopping’, or faking/exaggerating contact, in the NBA, has gotten totally out of control.

 Look out [insert your least favorite NBA player here], flopping is about to come at a real cost.

The NBA Board of Governors approved a rule change that will make flopping a technical foul for the 2023-24 season, the league announced Tuesday, the result of increasing frustrations from fans and teams toward players who go out of their way to sell contact.

This is gonna help the game SO much. During the Nuggets run to the championship last year they ran into SO many flippers, who concentrated more on their acting ability than their shootings, and it was ‘taught’ by many coaches. Some was good acting and some was TERRIBLE, but it fooled the refs a lot of times. Slow motion replay made some of it ridiculous.

Now it’s a technical foul.

It’s about time…

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
