The Buffs had a legitimate Heisman candidate in two way player, safety/running back Travis Hunter, until he was sent to the hospital by a vicious, late, blindside hit from a CSU goon named Henry Blackburn.

Henry Blackburn was relatively unknown before Saturday’s game, but now his name rings bells after the late, dirty hit he delivered to Travis Hunter.

The University of Colorado rallied for the win over Colorado State on Saturday night but lost two-way star Travis Hunter when he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation during the third quarter at Folsom Field.

He is expected to be out for several weeks. Social media commentators who saw Blackburn’s dirty play are calling for his head, or suspension at the very least.

It was one of EIGHT personal fouls against the DIRTY Rams, from CSU, who must have thought that it was their only chance of winning. Don’t tell me the coach wasn’t involved…

What can I say. It was a deliberate attempt to injure, by a jerk that may have caused serious, long term injury to a fantastic athlete. I hope there’s some kind of justice, if even it’s an ass kicking in an alley somewhere….
