File it under, ‘why I hate politicians’.

 The town of Broomfield, CO, decided we needed more water storage, on site, for a possible future water emergency. And that’s fine. Good thinking.

BUT, the jerks on the council spent over $2.2 million on a study whether to have that storage above or below ground, and after spending all that $$ decided on a compromise. The tanks would be HALF underground, on hill,  beside the city.

BUT, a few homeowners decided that would spoil their southern view (the mountains are to the west), and complained to the city council. SOO, those free spending jerks decided to do ANOTHER study, at a cost of over $800,000, (presumably paid to their friends and/or relatives) for a NEW study, which will probably impede SOMEONE’S view.

And that’s just one more reason WHY I can’t stand politicians, where it’s just Play Money, as long as it comes from the taxpayers, as our property taxes continue to rise, for this kinda crap….
