 Trump isn’t building a “ballroom”.  He’s building a massive, impregnable fortress – a veritable Bond villain’s lair where he and a few hundred of his handpicked and heavily-armed private militia goons can “hole up” indefinitely when he declares in November of 2028 that he’s now “Supreme President for Life” - and any rogue military units that Hegseth might not have total control over by then will never be able to dislodge him from the White House.

 

After Trump’s Jan. 6 auto-coup failed, he learned his lesson.  No half measures this time.
